The chocolate fountain used by Love at First Dip is a 3 and 4 tiered stainless steel machine. The delicious Belgian chocolates melt in the base of the chocolate then gently cascades over the tiers creating a stunning waterfall effect. Dipping items like strawberries, marshmallows, bananas, cookies, etc. are placed on a wooden dipping stick into the cascading chocolate for a scrumptiously sweet treat.

2. What kind of chocolate does the chocolate fountain use and what does it taste like?

Love at First Dip uses only the finest Belgian Chocolate in our chocolate fountains. Belgian Chocolate is regarded as the finest chocolate in the world. We care about our reputation and have the highest standards when it comes to flavor and consistency in our chocolate. Whether you choose Dark, White or milk chocolate you'll get the same exquisite taste and aroma when you take that first dip into our Chocolate fountain.

3. What kind of items can be dipped in the Chocolate Fountain?

The list of dipping items is endless! You can dip strawberries, marshmallows, dried fruit, pretzels, cookies, biscotti, wafers, pineapple, kiwi, bananas, rice krispy treats are just some of the dipping delight you may choose from. The only guideline we give you is not to serve anything that will crumble when being dipped in the cascading chocolate.

4. Who provides the Dipping items?

You or your banquet facility can provide the dipping items. For an additional fee we can provide the dipping items. We only request that we review the dipping items to assure that they meet the fountain requirements.

5. How much chocolate will I need for my event?

Love at First Dip will supply an endless flow of chocolate depending on how many guest you have and how much they love chocolate. Please contact us with the number of guests and we will be happy to supply you with an accurate amount needed.

6. How many guests will the Chocolate Fountain serve?

The Chocolate Fountain will serve an unlimited number of guests as long as additional chocolate is added. Our package includes 20 pounds of imported Belgium Chocolate, which is adequate for appetizers or dessert for up to 300 guests. Additional chocolate can be purchased, but is rarely needed. Of course, we will always have an adequate supply on hand if needed.

7. Do I have to set-up, tear down or clean the Chocolate Fountain?

No, Love at First Dip does all the work. We arrive about an hour before the designated starting time, ensuring that your guests will smell the sweet aroma of the chocolate as they enter the room. Two professionally dressed attendants will be there at all times to show your guests how to enjoy the fountain as well as to keep the fountain pristine at all times. Presentation is of utmost important to us. Our attendants are more than happy to replenish the accompaniments and to keep the appearance of the table at its finest. When the event has concluded we will clean and dismantle the fountain. All you have to do is enjoy your event!

8. What are the Table & Electrical requirements?

Our Chocolate Fountain weights about 100lbs when operating, a sturdy level table is a must. To cover the Chocolate Fountain table, your banquet facility should provide skirted table linens that coordinate with your event. We can also provide the table linen if you prefer. The Chocolate Fountains requires a 120v grounded electrical outlet within 10 feet of the set-up location.

9. I'm having an outdoor event; can the Chocolate Fountain be used outdoors?

We do not recommend using the chocolate fountain outdoors. The Chocolate Fountain has such a sweet, inviting aroma that all God's 'Heavenly' creatures are tempted to partake! In addition, the chocolate must be kept at a certain temperature, and fluctuating outdoor conditions will greatly affect the chocolate's integrity.

10. How long can I have the Chocolate Fountain at my event?

Our package includes 3 hours of fountain enjoyment, and this is usually plenty of time for your guests to enjoy this unique experience! Should you decide to use the Fountain for both appetizers and dessert, additional time may be purchased. The 3 hours does not include the set-up, tear down or clean up of the Chocolate Fountain. we do this on our time.

11. Is the Chocolate Fountain kosher?

Yes, all of our chocolates are kosher. Kosher certification available upon request.

12. What is required to reserve the Chocolate Fountain for my event?

All you have to do is pick up the phone and give us a call at (954) 394-3043. We can email, mail or fax you our contract and make arrangements for the 50% deposit that is required once the contract is signed and submitted.
